Assignment
Fin-Boost is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Fin-Boost and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, depending on the users province of residence, and applicable federal laws Canada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provision or rule. If an applicable law is in conflict with any part of the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will be deemed modified to conform to the law. The other provisions will not be affected by any such modification.

We are a provincially licensed payday lender operating in Alberta under the Consumer Protection Act (Alberta) (Licence No. 357989). • Employment and income information: employer name, employment status, income amount, pay frequency, and pay dates;
• Banking information: bank account number, transit number, bank statements, and related
banking data, collected directly from you or through a third-party bank account verification
service provider with your express consent. When you use a third-party bank account verification service, your online banking login credentials (such as passwords or PINs) are processed directly by that provider and are never shared with or stored on our servers. We receive only a read-only summary of your bank statements and account information;
• Social Insurance Number (SIN): collected only where required by law or for the purposes of identity verification and tax reporting;
• Credit information: credit report and credit score, obtained from credit bureaus with your
express consent;
• Transaction information: loan amounts, repayment history, pre-authorized debit records, and account activity;
• Location information: approximate location data (such as IP address or postal code) used to confirm your eligibility as an Alberta resident and to provide location-relevant services; you may opt out of location-based features through your browser or device settings;
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, cookies, and website usage data. Technical information may also include device- specific identifiers to assist in fraud detection and identity theft prevention;
• Communications: records of emails, telephone calls, chat messages, and other correspondence with us.
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete such information promptly
4. Purpose of Collection and Use

• Loan administration: to manage your loan, process payments and pre-authorized debits, send repayment reminders, and administer your account;
• Customer communications: to respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send service-related notices;
• Legal and regulatory compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and licensing requirements;
• Fraud prevention and security: to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity, and to protect the interests of our customers and our business;
• Service improvement: to analyze usage of our website and services using aggregated and
anonymized data, to improve our products and customer experience;
• Marketing: to send commercial electronic messages about our products and services, subject to your express consent and applicable requirements under CASL.
We may use automated decision-making systems and scoring algorithms to evaluate your
creditworthiness and process your loan application in real-time. If an application is rejected solely by an automated process, you have the right to request a manual review by contacting our support team.
We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without your additional consent, except as required or permitted by law.
Restriction under Consumer Protection Act (Alberta): Personal information collected in connection with a payday loan application or agreement may only be used or disclosed for the purpose of providing, administering, or collecting a payday loan. It may not be used or disclosed in connection with any other goods or services without your separate express consent.
5. Consent
We obtain your express or implied consent before or at the time of collecting your personal information.
The form of consent may be express (written or verbal confirmation) or implied (when the purpose is obvious from the context and a reasonable person would expect us to collect such information).
Express consent is required for: sharing your personal information with third-party service providers beyond what is strictly necessary to process your loan; sending marketing or promotional communications; obtaining your credit report; and any new use of your personal information not identified at the time of collection.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services to you. To unsubscribe from marketing communications, click the Unsubscribe link in any message we send you. We will process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as required by CASL.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your personal information only in the following circumstances:
• Domestic service providers: we may share your personal information with trusted Canadian third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as bank account verification services, credit bureaus, payment processors, IT service providers, and customer support platforms. These providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by confidentiality agreements;
• International service providers and contractors: we may also share your personal information with service providers and contractors located outside of Canada who provide us with operational, technical, administrative, or support services. Where your personal information is transferred to a foreign jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, which may differ from Canadian privacy laws. Regardless of where your personal information is processed, Loan Bridge Ltd. remains accountable for its protection. We ensure that our foreign service providers are contractually obligated to provide a level of security comparable to that required under Alberta and Canadian law. By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers as described in this Privacy Policy;
• Legal requirements: we may disclose your personal information if required by law, regulation, court order, or a competent regulatory authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others;
• Debt collection: we may share your information for the purpose of collecting amounts owed to us or repaying amounts owed to you, without your additional consent as permitted by applicable law. Any third-party debt collection agency engaged by us will be required to comply with the Collection and Debt Repayment Practices Regulation (Alberta) and applicable privacy legislation;
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your personal information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or use of your personal information, and you will have the opportunity to make choices regarding your information.
When your personal information is shared with third-party service providers or contractors, whether located in Canada or abroad, we require them to protect your personal information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not permit third-party service providers or contractors to use your personal information for their own purposes.
7. Retention of Personal Information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When your personal information is no longer required, it is securely destroyed, erased, or anonymized.
Indicative retention periods:
• Loan application, identity verification, and loan agreement records: at least 3 years after the
loan is fully repaid, or 3 years after the date of default or the borrower’s last payment if the loan
is not repaid, as required by the Consumer Protection Act (Alberta);
• Collection activity records (letters, emails, call logs): at least 3 years after the loan is fully
repaid or after the date of default;
• Marketing consent records: 3 years from the date of consent or until consent is withdrawn;
• Website usage data and cookies: up to 12 months;
• Customer support communications: 3 years from the date of last communication.
8. Safeguards
We implement and maintain appropriate technical, physical, and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CONSENT TO ACCESS BANKING INFORMATION
1. Purpose of this consent
To process your payday loan application, Loan Bridge Ltd. (Fin-Boost) needs to verify your bank account information and income. To do this, we use Flinks Technology Inc. ("Flinks"), a secure third-party bank data service provider licensed to operate in Canada.
This consent is collected in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) (PIPEDA) and the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) (PIPA).
2. What you are consenting to
By providing your express consent below, you authorize:
- Loan Bridge Ltd. (Fin-Boost) to access, read, and retrieve, through Flinks Technology Inc., your bank account information, including account details, transaction history, and income data, for the purpose of evaluating your payday loan application;
- Flinks Technology Inc. to access your bank account on a read-only basis using your banking credentials, solely to retrieve the information required to process your application;
- The collection, use, and disclosure of your bank account data by Loan Bridge Ltd. and Flinks Technology Inc. for income and identity verification in connection with your payday loan application, in accordance with the Fin-Boost Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
3. Important information about data security
Your banking credentials are transmitted directly and securely to your financial institution through Flinks' encrypted connection. Loan Bridge Ltd. does not store your online banking username or password.
Access is read-only — no transactions can be initiated on your behalf.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for any purpose other than evaluating your loan application.
Flinks Technology Inc. is SOC 2 Type II certified and stores data on Canadian servers.
Flinks Technology Inc. is a data processor acting on behalf of Loan Bridge Ltd. and processes your data only for the purpose of fulfilling your loan application request.
4. Relationship between you, Loan Bridge Ltd., and Flinks
Loan Bridge Ltd. acts independently in providing you with its loan services, and Flinks Technology Inc. has no responsibility or liability whatsoever with respect to those services.
Once your bank account data has been retrieved and provided to Loan Bridge Ltd., Flinks Technology Inc. is not responsible or liable for any subsequent use, processing, or disclosure of that data by Loan Bridge Ltd., or for any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of that data while it is in the possession or control of Loan Bridge Ltd.
The bank account data retrieved through Flinks does not represent an official record of your bank account. For your official account records, please refer directly to your financial institution. By providing your consent, you agree that any claim relating to the retrieval, use, or disclosure of your bank account data must be brought directly against Loan Bridge Ltd. (Fin-Boost), and you waive any right to bring such a claim against Flinks Technology Inc.
You may withdraw your consent and discontinue use of this verification service at any time prior to submission of your application by contacting Loan Bridge Ltd.
